Yes, I'm aware of that. In fact any value I try to retrieve from Settings.System and Settings.Secure on emulator is null (like DATE_FORMAT).
I'm testing on the two devices previously mentioned, and although I can use the same method to get any other property value, it always return null when I ask for ANDROID_ID.
