Not sure why you say not Android.  Android has supported SPP Bluetooth
since API level 5 (Android 2.0).  Check out the BluetoothChat
example.  You might need to change the UUID to
00001101-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB but otherwise it works fine.
