I'm just gonna start with some general info about my programming, as this is my first post here. I'm using the eclipse plugin for mac, and I've been teaching myself Java since July, and Android programming since November. My school doesn't really have much in the way of programming classes, so none of my questions will be related to homework.
I do have questions of my own about how to do some things on android, but I'll get to those questions later. I've looked at the samples and articles that google has provided a number of times now, but I don't feel confident that I know what views are good for what kinds of situations, etc.. I'm thinking that if there is already a group collaborating on some application, one fast way for me to pick it up would be to get my email address onto the mailing lists for this group, just so I could see how some other developers are tackling similar problems. I promise I won't go posting ur apps on the android market, claiming they are my own. Besides, I'm really confused about how this signing process works, so seeing how it goes on might help me a bit. Also, I'ld be willing to do beta testing if anyone needs testers. (If I'm posting this in the wrong place, please let me know.
