Yeah, there's no fucntion available in intent class. But you can putExtra putExtra<http://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html#putExtra%28java.lang.String,%20long%29> (String <http://developer.android.com/reference/java/lang/String.html> name, long value) to recongnize any known scenario. On the other end use getExtra to get the same value.
