This question might have been asked a while ago, but i'm still confused, and things could have changed in the mean time.
Let's say i'm changing the project build target from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 (not sure i will, but just hypothetically :) and that the android:minSdkVersion attribute is changed accordingly. What will happen to my current users who don't have Android 2.1? Will they receive the update through Android Market automatically? Will it try to install the app and fail, but the current (already installed) version will still work? Will the failure break the app? Or will the Market ignore such users and they can continue using the 'old' app without any extra notifications?
