We've pushed some changes last night at http://slideme.org. When you upload your Android app, you now have the option to publish or unpublish it. This means that you can work on the catalo data and when you are ready, release it to the general user community. Later you can choose to unpublish, as well. Keep in mind apks are required to be uploaded to be listed on in the SlideME catalog, as we are focusing on application provisioning to the device.
You also now have the option of setting price. If you do set price, we will publish the catalog content on our site and on the sam download client (due out today) but will not allow downloads of the apk until next week, when we have billing in place. Free applications will be available once the sam client is released today. You may also want to consider http://mogees.combilling and shareware solution, when it becomes available, as we will allow you to set the price in our catalog but do actual billing through them. So there are a number of upcoming options. Also we will be unpublishing any applications that are pre-1.0 and unsigned. So if you have an app on SlideME, that isn't updated, just login, update the apk and publish it. If you need help with testing on G1, ping me. I already have a queue but will help as much as I can. Good luck to everyone, Shane --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
