Hi, I am trying to build an XMPP client on Android. I want to use the smack api. for this, I have read the davanum.wordpress.com blog but the code there doesn't work. The problem is that whenever i try to use the connect() method, android says that my process stopped unexpectedly. Is this because i haven't used a patched version of the smack.jar file as instructed in the blog?. if so, please send me a copy of the patched file. I am also looking at using Jabber Stream Obects (JSO) for builiding the client. If anyone has already been successful in using it, please contact me!!!
