I agree, I didn't mean the SDK is a kind of user manual :) But this
topic only comes up for people who want to dive behind the covers and
start micro-managing their phones resources. In which case, the SDK
explains exactly how it works.

Slow startup is a bug in the launcher. My response on the other thread
on this topic - buttons that get added as workarounds for bugs leads
to madness. See: the Linux desktop, the Word 2000 preferences window,
websites where pressing the back button triggers the repost message
etc.

If the launcher started in 250msec you wouldn't have this problem. So
that's the problem we should solve.
