I am in the same boat as Rick. I have lots of Baen books (free and
purchased) but had them in mobiReader format. FBReaderJ seems to work
well, but only reads: oeb, epub, fb2.

FBReaderJ is a good program that is under active development (updated
just a couple of days ago). I hope soon they will soon support more
formats as they promise.

In the mean time, I've had to download some of the books again in MS
Reader format (.lit) and use a utility called ABC Amber LIT converter
(http://www.processtext.com/abclit.html) to save them in FB2 format.

Hope this helps...
