To add to this, will the emulator profiles/software be updated to take into account these configurations and let us test the behaviour of our applications on these devices.
Will we be able to build different download packages for different devices on the store, or mark particular configurations as supported and unsupported. While it's all well and good to say that an Android application should support every device resolution, for games in particular, you don't want higher resolution graphics to have to be included in the package for a lower resolution device, particularly when the phone memory is already fairly limited/full on the current G1 devices.
