I shouldn't have spoken so soon.

After having installed and set-up SlideME, and installed a free app
without hassle; I've just found out SlideME accepts less payment
methods than the Android market, and Maestro is still not listed. Even
the Amazon payment scheme only works with Visa/Mastercard/Delta. VERY
frustrating!

I decided to try handango.com, but successfully buy an app before
posting here. So I signed up to handango.com and picked a random game
that looked remotely interesting: "Personal Video Poker" - When I got
to the payment page, it offered Switch (which is the old name for
Maestro in the UK) or Paypal, which looked promising. However, the
Paypal process fails stating that non-U.S. payments cannot be
accepted, and the Switch method took me to an error page:

"There was an error processing your order. Please try again or contact
Customer Care."

Buying applications should NOT be this difficult!

Can anyone suggest a site or market that actually accepts Maestro
debit payments? Or even PayPal?!
