Thanks for your help. My phone works with airtel using the gprs settings but when it comes to MTNL, it just does not authenticate the GPRS settings in the MTNL server so I cannot access it. I have used airtel, vodafone and it works fine as they are PAP and CHAP settings are fine with G1 but not MTNL's so the customer service reps at MTNL asked me to shut the PAP and CHAP settings which I do not know how to go to on my phone
