Hi, I was always wondering what that number is about. My assumption was that this is the number of people who have my app installed. And the percentage shows the relation to the downloads.
Wouldn't that mean that the percentage will get lower with each update as the number of users stay the same, but the app is (re-)downloaded. Or are the redownloads not counted? From about 6 hours ago to right now the active install percentage of my app jumped from 23% to 31%. I am wondering why that is? The number of downloads didn't change all that much, for the sake of this argument is stayed constant.
