I think instead of making a map or mail program with more features than gmap
and gmail, for small frys like the most of us, it's better to concentrate on
niche, perhaps shady, areas that Google won't bother to enter into.

Here are some ideas

1. Inmate Connect -- share stories and blogs with other people that you've
been in prison together with. The paid version automatically find you a
lawyer when you are arrested (again).

2. Pull My Tooth -- tie your G1 to a loose tooth and drop it. While the
phone is falling, which it detects using motion sensor, a nice tune is
played to make the whole experience so soothing.

3. Mari Joint -- Share comments about your local hash clubs and locate the
closest one to you using GPS.
