Probably yes and in future there will be many more Android phones than
iPhone phones but iPhone will be solid platform and will remain in
future. Also it looks like Android phones will increase in numbers and
in few years become available to masses but I don't belive that all
Andorid users will want to buy software on market. Many will use
phone just as phone to call and send SMS... while more "advanced"
users will buy iPhone and they will buy apps.

Of course there will be a lot of users of Android phones that will be
interested in buying software on Android market but not all or not as
high percentage as on Apple's phone. Also due to fact that developers
from only 2 countries can sell their applications on market mean that
many will stick to iPhone, Black Berry, Symbian, WinMo or will just
create free apps making it much harder for USA and UK developers to
earn money on Android Market.
