Hey guys! C'mon - we're all on the same side here ;-)
As it happens you are both (almost) correct. Yes there is power in the
car, obviously, but the cluster for the various accessories drives, oh
I dunno, 4 devices already: the GPS itself, the Nokia, Road Angel etc.
Plus the GPS unit has a recharge time of approx 2 weeks, whereas the
G1 with active sat wouldn't last half a day without recharging. I also
cycle :-) But really, being such a gadget freak, you know, you take a
look at a BT GPS, a BT G1 and ask ... hmmm? Why not?
