That is clearly a SOFTWARE difference due to running different
versions of android and has nothing to do with physical differences in
the hardware, which BTW are called DREAM and MAGIC.

In other words, there is no actual difference that you have to make
between the different devices in this respect. The changes you need
are a simply a matter of keeping up support for the newer versions of
android.
