That is a real shame. It sounds like you've been pretty unlucky. I've
used my G1 when it's been tipping it down, and it's still working
fine.

You should take the back panel and battery off, and leave it in a dry
place (airing cupboard?) for a week so the internals thoroughly dry
out. You'll probably find it will start working again. Pretty much
every phone I've come across that malfunctioned after getting wet was
fixed this way, it does mean you are without a mobile phone for a week
though...

If it still doesn't work (or whilst you're drying it), tell Brightstar
that your phone has stopped working, but don't go into details about
rain damage. If you start giving those kind of reasons for it not
working, they will contend that it isn't a manufacturer fault. Having
said that, hopefully your G1 is just wet inside still, and you won't
need to do this.
