Looking at things from another way there is the potential for the argument that screen designs are copyrightable in their own right as they involve design and implementation work, so merely looking the same as any other app on any other platform could give enough basis for a copyright claim.
Think of it like this; If you wrote a native windows app which duplicated the functionality and appearance of SalesForce.com running in Firefox wouldn't you expect SalesForce to come after you? Al.
