I just got my Nexus One today, and I'm in the process of setting it up,
but noticed that the 1.x instant messaging client IM doesn't seem to be
present on the phone. Yes, Google Talk is there, but I don't seem to be
able at the moment to enter any of the set up information for Yahoo
Messenger which I also use. The Accounts & Sync settings panel doesn't
have an option for it either. I was able to add a Yahoo Messenger
address for a contact of mine, but since I'm not getting connected to
the system, I can't exactly send IMs to that individual.
Has this client been intentionally removed for reworking or some other
reason, just missing from just my phone (unlikely), or am I missing
something obvious in setting up Yahoo?
Thanks,
Raymond
