Looking in the Market Console for my app, I was reviewing the
"Supported Devices" section.
This is how my console reads:
This application is only available to devices with these features, as
defined in your application manifest.
Screen layouts: SMALL NORMAL LARGE XLARGE
Required device features
android.hardware.touchscreen
This application is available to over 0 devices.
---------------------------
It is telling me that my device is not available to any devices, which
I hope is a mistake. The features I require, are very
straightforward, and should encompass 99.99% of the devices on the
market.
I am hoping there is not a bug in the market that is limiting my
downloads. I do see my download counts going up, but it is slower
than I expect.
Anyone else seeing similar things? Is there something I should do.
In the past, when I limited my app based on carrier (had issues due to
AT&T's restrictive Android Market) it effected my availability on
other platforms.
I do my best to ensure my app runs on as many different devices as
possible. I want to be available everywhere - if I have a strange
setting in my Market console that is limiting this, I want to fix it
ASAP.
