This candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and needs to be able to take direction, ask questions and then deliver. *Critical Functions:* · Experience developing well-organized, maintainable, automated testing for web applications using Protractor or Selenium · Experience with designing, implementing, maintaining and improving test automation infrastructure · Experience in creating test automation innovations and techniques that help expand the scope and/or robustness of testing. · Experience with code coverage tools and in increasing test coverage of services and applications. · Experience with creating effective test strategies for systems with multiple integrated components. · Experience with different test varieties, negative, positive, boundary, encoding support, SLAs, etc. · Experience with isolating bugs in the source code, and an effective participant in development code reviews. · Experience in version control concepts and software such as GitHub · Experience enabling development staff to use the test automation to help pretest their code changes. · Experience in creating effective reporting from the test automation suites and communicating status to management · Experience mentoring Quality/Automation Engineering staff · Experience developing automated testing for RESTful APIs (e.b. ability to inspect and certify various payload types such as JSON, XML or PHP) with tools such as JMeter and Postman · Experience in automated testing of the integration of Authentication and authorization standards such as SAML, JWT, OAuth, OpenID, OKTA · Experience with MySQL and/or PostGres (relational concepts, SQL, connection pooling.
