Perform unit testing and coordination of UAT and resolve deficiencies for retest. FAMS will be a secure web-based process to be used by applicants for authorization to operate OCFS programs. This process will allow users to complete the application process online and directly populate the system(s) of record namely CCFS. This enhanced website will be will be built to meet the following: The State’s LEAN Initiative has launched a movement toward ‘less paper’ and a leaner application process. As part of this initiative, DCCS has raised the issue with the CCFS development team of developing an on-line application process to be included as one option for applicants and child day care providers. An additional component, as an increasing number of providers have internet access, is the development of a secure process of transmitting correspondence to providers via email has been discussed as an option to be pursued. Yet another aspect of this involves modifications to the provider application to reflect the easing of requirements in accordance with legislative mandates.
