The scope of this role includes focus on continuous improvement of configuration, incident, problem, change and service level management activities. You are adaptable, with the ability to multitask in a stressful environment. *Responsibilities* • Provides management oversight of the day to engineering and operational activities of the Contact Center Platform Services department. • Overseas the activities related to design, installation, provisioning and maintenances of all platforms associated with Avaya platform - Voice Services to include: Feature Servers, Session Boarder Controllers, Media Gateways, Fraud Detection, Voice Mails and Unified communications. • Leads researching and testing of present and future IP telephony services required to keep the company at the forefront of commercial and residential voice offering. • Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure network performance and reliability of Voice Services • Plans and manages the department’s strategic activities and timelines, coordinating with other department leaders as required. • Maintain activities directly related to monitoring of Voice Network’s availability and reliability such as System software, Certificates, Licenses, Hardware, Capacity and augmentation • Perform additional duties as assigned. • Acts as primary lead for one or more ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change), providing day to day guidance to other Operations Analysts related to the process. • Management of High Priority Major Incidents within complex environments; engaging, focusing and driving internal and external resolver teams to efficiently restore service and communicating during Major Incidents to stakeholders across the company. • For High Risk Changes, performs impact and risk analysis to ensure the risks/impacts to customers and services are thoroughly understood and to ensure that appropriate actions have been planned to minimize both the risk of failure and the impact on customers. • Leads problem management lifecycle, including assembling the relevant stakeholders, establishing the root cause, and ensuring senior IT leadership is apprised of progress and recommendations for closure. • Proactively monitors and reviews Incident tickets to identify patterns and in partnership with the Service Owner create problem records to be researched. *Qualifications* *Required* • Strong debug and decipher knowledge of IP Telephony protocol (SIP/RTP/RTCP, MGCP/H.248, IP Routing, Security and QoS) to troubleshoot voice services delivered on all mediums are required. • Thorough understanding of the Avaya platform. • Knowledge of industry standards and the regulatory environment is required. •Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow through excellent teamwork and interpersonal skill required. *Knowledge/Experience* • Supports the telephony infrastructure including: Avaya CM, SIP, CMS, AES, VoIP, and various Call Center applications. • Voice over IP principles and PBX functionality (SIP, SCCP, H.323, etc.) • Maintain and troubleshoot Avaya media servers and G450, G650 media gateways running Avaya Communications Manager and CMS in a dispersed voice network that includes multiple call centers and data centers. • Call Center skills: Avaya Contact Center skills: Vectoring, VDN, Skills, Variables, System configuration, ARS Table, Routing Plan, Service hours tables, CMS Supervisor, Moves, Adds and changes, Avaya 1X agent, Avaya IP agent, Modular Messaging. • Maintain advanced telecommunication applications such as CMS, AES, CM8800, Modular Messaging • Execute project work related to the Voice/Telephony support area during service interruptions *Preferred* • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering field, or equivalent experience preferred. • Preferred minimum of six (6) years of PSTN, IMS or Voice Over IP practical experience preferred. • Preferred minimum of six (6) years of strong management experience preferred. • Cox experience preferred If you are interested, please forward your resume to [email protected].
