Working remotely is not allowed. As client is currently working from home, the consultant will also work from home. However, once work from home order has been lifted, the consultant is expected to work from Brooklyn office SCOPE OF SERVICES: Solution Architect with extensive experience architecting new Distributed & Cloud solutions as well as reengineering existing systems. Architect complete, robust solutions that address Business requirements, and collaborate with both the application development and infrastructure teams to adopt and implement new technologies. Create and maintain all documentation for their solution portfolio. Participate in the planning and design of IT applications and capabilities across the enterprise in order to meet desired business objectives. Work with IT to ensure application risks are integrated into the lifecycle of any application solution. Insure solutions comply with Architectural standards and specifications. Design and document the high-level architectural specifications of new applications. Plan and design the security, application, integration, cloud, and infrastructure architectures that ensure the delivery of stable, scalable systems with capabilities aligned to customer requirements. Help define and document how the components of business applications relate to each other, including how shared technology services and capabilities will best support the business objectives. Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) and provide advice on software development best practices, system integrations and system performance and tuning. Assist in the creation of technical specifications for all Enterprise Solutions. Possess vast experience in development using .NET Framework and/or Java J2EE platforms, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL databases and Client side Web Programming expertise using AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery etc. SalesForce CRM including SalesForce data integration. Perform technical requirements analysis and make recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency. Develop best practices, strategies and methodologies for solution delivery. Architect and design new applications from a component, security, workflow and integration standpoint. Maintain high-level understanding of technologies, procedures and concepts across multiple projects. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ten years application development experience. Five years solution or application architect experience. Five years solution or application security experience including data encryption and secure data sharing experience. MS SQL Server including stored procedure and advanced querying. JAVA EE, .Net, Salesforce CRM.
