Position : Mainframe Developer Location : Irving, TX (Initially Work from Home) Job Description: * Development Experience in Mainframe: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM * Investigation of incidents reported across various Mainframe applications. * Financial services domain experience * Engagement with ITIL processes including Major Incident management, problem management, change management etc. * Operate independently to identify process bottlenecks and proactively drive improvements by engaging the appropriate teams. * Confidently handle communication with various stakeholders in Business, Operations, Infrastructure, and application partner systems. * Operate with minimal to no supervision in resolving incidents and drive issues with a sense of urgency. * Excellent team player and able to operate without authority to navigate through teams and complex issues and Tasks. * ServiceNow knowledge will be an advantage Technical Skills: * Language and Database: COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, DB2, REXX * Tools: Changeman, QMF, SPUFI, FileAID, Omegamon * Others: IBM MQ Series, Connect Direct/NDM, sFTP * Prior working experience in retail Banking is a plus.
