Hi, we have openings for Senior Java Developer with Hadoop at Mountain View, CA Remote Position We are looking for a Mid - Senior level full stack Software Engineer to be responsible for the following:
Role Purpose: Responsible for creating and maintaining server applications as well as various tools used in the system. You will take the very best concepts through various stages of production coding, to prove feasibility of a concept and to complete end-to-end functional software services. You will also be expected to help prove concept feasibility and provide input into the architecture of the services we build. If you love working directly on consumer-facing products and shipping what you build, we'd love to meet you. Major Responsibilities: * Design, develop and maintain health focused features, products and tools * Be responsible for unit and integration level testing * Troubleshoot and analyze system level issues end to end * Work with cross-disciplinary teams (design, research, product, QA) throughout the program lifecycle Background, Experience & Qualifications: * BS/MS in computer science or related area and 3+ years project experience * Solid programming skill in Java language * Hands on Experience implementing REST APIs and highly scalable systems * Hands on experience working with SQL or other types of databases * Hands on experience implementing website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices and React.js * Hands on experience integrating data from backend services and databases * Good communication/presentation skill and teamwork spirit * Hands-on experience in AWS, Lambda, Dynamo is highly desired * Hands on experience in Kubernetes and Docker is highly preferred * Experience in multiple programming languages: Scala/Python is desired * Experience in any one or more of the following technologies (nice to have): * Hadoop * HDFS/Hbase/Phoenix * Spark/Kafka * ELK * FHIR Kind Regards!
