Type of Hire: long term Contract Year of exp. 12+ Through Birlasoft Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Architect with expertise in TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) to join our team. As a GCP Architect with TOGAF knowledge, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions, aligning them with the enterprise architecture using TOGAF principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions that meet the business requirements and adhere to industry best practices. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement GCP architecture solutions that align with the enterprise architecture framework based on TOGAF principles. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud solutions on GCP. 3. Design, configure, and deploy GCP services and solutions such as virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancers, and containers. 4. Ensure that GCP solutions meet performance, scalability, availability, and security requirements. 5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in implementing GCP solutions. 6. Conduct architecture reviews, performance evaluations, and capacity planning for GCP infrastructure. 7. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in GCP and cloud architecture to provide innovative and efficient solutions. 8. Collaborate with operations teams to develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for GCP services. 9. Define and enforce architectural and design standards, best practices, and guidelines for GCP solutions. 10. Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to educate teams on GCP architecture and TOGAF principles. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect, preferably with a focus on GCP. 3. Strong knowledge of TOGAF and experience applying its principles to enterprise architecture. 4. Professional certifications related to GCP architecture, such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect. 5. In-depth understanding of GCP services and components, including compute, storage, networking, and security. 6. Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on GCP. 7. Proficiency in designing and deploying GCP services using tools like Cloud Deployment Manager, Terraform, or Deployment Manager. 8. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts and tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. 9. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address architectural and operational issues. 10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. 2. Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes. 3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. 4. Understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud environments. 5.
