Here is the job description, please reach out to me if you are interested. *Job Title : Java backend Developer * *Location : Berkely Heights, NJ (Onsite day 1 onwards)* *Duration : Long term* *Positions : 10* *Responsibilities:* - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, with focus on development and bugfixes. - Work with project stakeholders on understanding requirements and their implementation. - Design, develop and test software applications, with focus on the backend application development. - Troubleshoot and debug software defects and technical problems. - Write clean and maintainable code with focus on quality and reusability. - Implement unit tests for the existing and newly developed code. - Implement fixes for non-functional requirements like performance and scalability issues and security vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with quality assurance engineers for system testing, integration testing and regression testing and fixes. - Document technical design and implementation details. - Teamwork and collaboration with other developers and team members in other roles like QAs, designers, architects, leads, frontend and backend developers, DevOps engineers, as well as with other teams. - Keep up with the latest technologies and learn new frameworks as they get used in the ongoing software development. *Requirements:* - 7-10 years of solid work experience as a backend developer with programming languages and frameworks like Java and Spring / SpringBoot. - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. - Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like algorithms and data structures, software design, design patterns, object-oriented programming. - Experience with development of REST APIs in multithreaded applications and microservices. - Experience with databases and SQL, as well as persistence frameworks like Hibernate. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus. - Experience with unit test frameworks like Mockito.
