Simply replacing the headers is not enough. It would be much better for you to rebuild your OMX against the 1.1.2 headers. The changes required to your OMX would be limited to spelling corrections and the addition of some buffer flags, etc. Very little else seems to have changed.
My effort to update my 1.1 OMX to work with 1.1.2 headers was relatively painless, I don't think this would pose any problem.
