I'm one of the creators of the "geo" URI scheme, currently in draft status in the Internet Engineering Task Force ( http://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-mayrhofer-geopriv-geo-uri ). I've noticed that Android includes support for that URI scheme, although slightly different than what we defined in the standardization proposal.
The Android API document is here: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/g-app-intents.html The difference is that Android also supports a query component to the URI, which is currently not included in the standardization proposal. I'm seeking feedback from the developer who included the "geo" URI in the API - since the standardization is in draft status, early feedback could still make its way into the standardization. thanks, Alex --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "android-framework" group.
