There are a few advanced drawing features that aren't supported yet.
As Romain mentioned, we reimplemented the Canvas/Paint API on top of
Java2D, but this is not fully implemented.

It's designed to work in most cases, but more than any other editors
bundled with ADT, the layout editor is very much a work in progress.
