Hi, I need some help ... I'm working on a project with the Android which requires me to connect via a Socket from Android to a standard windows machine.
I've tried connecting but get ConnectionException of "Connection Failed". However, if I do same code without Android it works as expected. I'm doing this with an emulator session (not a real device) and doing it from the same Windows XP system as I use when connecting successfully outside of Android. Any ideas welcome on what I need to do on the Android virtual device, emulator, etc to allow Socket connections to work ?
