Georges, Are you using the M3 or the M5 runtime. I tried with the M3 because the M5 is not supposed to work.
I ended up taking power.c from the M3 kernel and ported it to your patched n810 kernel. Using the older power.c, I saw the last_user_activity node show up in sys.
