This is not really a "kernel" question, but more of a pondering than anything else. Just thinking aloud for a project idea.
Seems like android is not really using the trustzone architecture available on the newer arm architecture...though the usage of trustzone is highly processor/manufacturer specific, what could be some "nice" features with this?imei...subsidylock...drm...efuses seem to be some obvious features that could probably benefit. >From my experience, manufacturers prefer to use their own architecture for imei and subsidy lock implementations. But if an open flexible framework was developed for this(imei/subsidy), with or without trustzone support, would there be any interest for something like this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ unsubscribe: android-kernel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com website: http://groups.google.com/group/android-kernel -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
