Yes Manoj, Settings->Unmount SD card is the right and the safest way to unmount and remove the SD card. If you pull out the SD Card with the file system still mounted, then the FAT errors that you see on the console, are expected. This can also result in the corruption of the file system on the card. Card may become unusable and you may need to reformat the card too.
