Unfortunately, comparing kernel/common with kernel/samsung isn't very helpful since most of the Android specific features are device specific. For instance the NO_HZ option. It also appears that the android.txt document which describes the recommended kernel options needs to be updated. Many of those options no longer exist or at least were not important enough to be implemented by Samsung.
