I followed all the steps from http://groups.google.com/group/android-kernel/browse_thread/thread/921928a444457bea/20c9e66135f5cd9f?lnk=gst&q=hangs+at+google+boot+screen# Cleared dalvik cache, unpacked the boot.img and included built kernel image with --base --pagesize options. When I boot up the kernel without flashing, it says "Fastboot Status: OK" However after flashing, when I boot up, it hangs at the Google screen with Unlocked padlock at the bottom screen. adb logcat shows that "couldn't open framebuffer HAL(No such device)" I did "adb root" and had a look at dmesg It shows SGXInit failed, BridgeDispatchKM failed etc. errors - all the graphics driver errors. I have used the "herring_defconfig" with "CROSS_COMPILE" flag while doing menuconfig Any ideas? My samsung.git is at stock kernel branch (android- samsung-2.6.35)
