How to access the accelerometer at the kernel level and read its values. For example to identify if the user is standing(stationary) or driving (moving). I think I think will have to deal with device drivers, found this post http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Android_Sensor_PortingGuide but it is not descriptive enough to get started..any ideas, tutorial a guide?
