Copy the output of building the kernel(mydroid/kernel/common/arch/
arm/
boot/zImage, this directory?) and replace the directory "mydroid/
prebuilt/Android-x86/kernel " or this directory(mydroid/prebuilt/
android-arm/kernel)? replace the whole directory?

I searched around. Flashing kernel and Android source looks similar.
confused. I am using Nexus S and building Gingerbread, following the
steps in Android source project website to flash the image into the
Nexus S. This means this operation of flashing will cover the
kernel ,right? with prebuilt.
On the other hand, if I only flash the modified Android linux kernel
and follow some shortcuts like this
http://developer.sonymobile.com/wp/2011/05/06/how-to-build-a-linux-ke...,
will it affect the Android source running on phone? or it is totally
separated?
Thanks for your help.
