Hi, could some one help me with the following. I am able to understand that when a pin is pulled up ,the PUD(pull up/pull down) register is set to pull up when a pin is pulled down,the PUD register is set to pull down and then when it is neither driven it is set to PULL none.
Now If a pin is pulled up and then PUD register is set to PULL down/PULL none.what is the effect.And what is the use of setting the PUD register based on the hardware configuration of the pin.
