Yes, lots-o-work depending on what you need.

if the kernel version isn't one that has a branch in kernels/common.git
then you'll need to rebase what you need from whatever the closest branch
in common.git is.

FWIW the newer kernel.org kernels should have all you need to boot to an
android shell except the ADB gadget driver.
