Hi, I am developing a test tool to measure the signal strength of nearby UMTS cells (carrier).
My problem is that the Android phone picks up the cell automatically, so I can not measure the cell which the phone never picks. (restarting the phone does not help. ) Is there anyway to select certain nearby UMTS cell? I suppose I need send some command through RIL interface. Could any one give me some suggestion?
