Hi,

i will be developing some android app that works with data received via
DVB-T, for starters i need to install DVB drivers to android kernel
(probably best way will be through some kernel module). I really don't have
much experience regarding kernel development so i came here for some help.

I would like to start working on some virtual device, because i don't
possess any real device with which i can mess with kernel (at least not
yet).
Can u guys give me some starting pointers (if any of u you tried something
like this before or heave any experience with similar matters) on which
virtual device is most suitable for this and generally how to start? Would
i need android NDK for this? Or can i just use some toolchain to
croos-compile some dvb drivers to perhaps some VMvare Android VM?

Any replies are welcome,

regards

Dreamo
