Hi All,

I have read about qwerty.kl from android mailing list and could able to
integrate the keypad. Thanks to all those who have contribute on this topic.

I was facing an issue with the present key map in qwerty.kl file. When I
mapped all the required key on the board and checked the "getevent"
application all the scancode were coming correctly.
But the android desktop was acting on the keys with format "key 28 ENTER"
while keys with format "key 158 BACK WAKE_DROPPED" are not
affecting the android desktop. So it was tough rather impossible to browse
through the desktop.

I removed "WAKE_DROPPED" from all such key maps and was able to browse the
android desktop, select and launch the applications. It was just a hit and
try. Is this a right way? And what for this "WAKE_DROPPED"/"WAKE" used for?

Thanks and Regards,
Manish
