Hi- I would like to know if there is any support for AltGr (German keyboard) in the current Android platform. If not, are there any plans to do so?
In looking at the code and kcm file, it looks like the code expects 7 columns only (the last 4 are modifiers for base, caps, alt, and caps- alt). If I were to add an 8th column to contain the modifiers for the AltGr key, that would require changes to quite a few layers of the platform. Is this the suggested way of adding support to AltGr?
