You'll need to set correctly the permissions to access to it from any
application (if you want) or a group.
You can do it at boot time or editing the devices.c file, adding a row
to the array.
By the way you should wrap it with some daemon/Manager/Provider to
guarantee access to all and/or asyncronous access. Check alarm stuff.
