No idea. The only possibility I can guess is
your source tree is incomplete. Try to repo sync again.
(in particular, do you have vendor/asus/eeepc/ dir?)

If you succeed to compile the code,
you should have kernel image at
out/target/product/eeepc/kernel,
as described in
http://www.android-x86.org/documents/customizekernel
