Hi,

This subject has been pasted at the android-platform group, but no
answers so far. I wanna try my luck here.

I'm porting the G1 msm_camera driver to my Tattoo 'cause, as you know,
the open-source libcamera2 could work in G1 and other Google devices,
and no way to use libcamera.so(HTC stock donut lib) to make Tattoo's
camera work on Eclair or FroYo. I just give the idea a try, can't be
sure whether it would work or not. AFAIK, both camera of G1 and Tattoo
are driven by mt9t013 module, is this true?

What I did was to replace the whole drivers/media/video directory with
that of aosp_2.6.29-donut. After a long time debugging, the kernel was
compiled without any errors. However, the interface '/dev/msm_camera/
control0' would not be there. My question is what codes in the kernel
generated this interface. By the way, there was an interface named '/
dev/msm_camera/msm_camera0' created by the HTC stock kernel. Thanks a
lot.

Regards,
