You can write a small native test app (in cpp), link to libgps.so and check
libgps services.,

you can refer our sample camera HAL test code.,
http://git.omapzoom.org/?p=platform/hardware/ti/omap3.git;a=tree;f=test/CameraHal;hb=refs/heads/froyo

camera tests are full fledged and pretty huge, and u can also refer small
tests testing overlay/v4l2 libraries at
http://git.omapzoom.org/?p=platform/hardware/ti/omap3.git;a=tree;f=liboverlay;hb=refs/heads/froyo
